Cozy Village is a personal project I started in late 2022 as a way to learn Visual Development by combining my current 2D and 3D skills. My original plan is to create a cute little town, inspired by building illustrations from Mateusz Urbanowicz and Angela Hao.
Unlike the other personal projects, instead of using other artist’s work as reference and jump straight into 3D modeling, I’m planning to do the concept design myself, along with narrative and level design.
I started with a design for a bookstore and a cafe.
